Questions from the previous months: Introduce yourself, your projects, and any goals you have for the year!
My fifth year doing the WIPocalypse! :DD I can't believe how fast time flies! For those who visit my blog for the first time, my name is Maria, and I'm getting closer and closer to my 20-year-stitching anniversary! :D For this year I once again have one single goal: to finish the Flash vs. Arrow poster, hopefully by the end of August. After that, if things work out, I'd also love to finish Death by Cross Stitch by the end of the year, but that's not really a goal for this year.

January:  What SALs are you participating in this year?

Barely any, basically just the By the Numbers SAL in the Full Coverage Fanatics group on Facebook, and I don't know if it's a SAL per se, but I've joined Stitchinmommy in her #nostarts2019 on Instagram. That one isn't really a challenge for me with all my current wips and 5 starts last year :DDDD

February: What do you listen to while stitching?

I usually listen to podcasts, watch TV or Flosstube :)

March: What newer designers and product creators (fabric or floss dyeing, etc) out there have you discovered and recommend?

Since I stitch my own charts and only use 32 count evenweave (Magic Guide lately), I don't really look for designers or product creators. Can't help here, sorry! :D

April:  Talk to us about your longest-running WIP or UFO

Well, that would be Chuck vs. the Cross Stitch :D I've started it more than 9 years ago (on February 28, 2010 to be exact, while the show was in its 3rd season. It was the first wip I started working on extreme cross country, although back then I started with the black, the color with the most stitches, quite the opposite of how I'm working now! I took it with me and worked on it at the hospital when I got my I-131 treatments after my thyroid surgery, and apart from the two occasions when I finished Dreams of Gaudí and the Arrow poster, I never really abandoned it for a longer time, it's been a fixture in my rotation :D Hopefully it's gonna be finished by 2039 :DDDD

May: Where do you love to shop for stash?
I barely shop. At this point I have the fabric and the floss for all of my wips and almost all of my planned starts until 2040, and that's no joke! :DD I used to buy DMC from 123Stitch, but since they no longer ship DMC to Europe, I have yet to find a new place. Lately I got my 32 count Easy Guide fabric from Crafty Kitten in the UK.

June: Half-year recap:  How are you doing with your goals so far this year?
Pretty well on track with Flash vs. Arrow. I'm working on the last color, 310, and while life kinda got in the way of my stitching this month, I still hope I can finish it by the end of August. I'm basically monogamous until I finish it, so no progress on my other wips this month.

July: How do you get yourself out of a stitching drought?
Good question! I usually don't even get into one :DDDD Seriously, I love all my wips so much and want to work on them so much that when I don't get to stitch for even 1-2 days (which unfortunately happens lately with work taking over my time) I feel like I'm in withdrawals!

August: What do you have on your stitching bucket list?  (for example, specific projects, designers, fibers, etc)

These projects

:DDDD

September: What finishing style have you never tried but would love to do?
I don't really have any, I'm gonna frame all my wips :)

October: Do you prefer to stitch on a rotation or one project at a time?

I do have my rotation, I add all the stitches of one color to a piece, then move on to the next one :) I love rotating because this way I can work on all my wips. However once I get close to a finish I usually start working monogamously on that one :D

November: What new stitches or techniques did you learn this year?
None, I'm afraid :DD Still just keep doing my full coverage wips with plain crosses :DD
