És megint csaltam egy kicsit.../And I've cheated a little once again...

Ugyanis pénteken hanyagoltam a Conquistadort, és helyette Chuckot vettem elő. Ráadásul ma a szokott két esti telenovela-epizódom mellé beszúrtam a Chuck vs. the Podcast egy régi epizódját is, enyhítendő a nagy nyári elvonást a negyedik szezonig. Az eredmény: Sarah ruhájának felső része egy kicsit tovább nőtt :)

Because last Friday I've neglected El Conquistador and worked on Chuck instead. Plus tonight apart from my usual nightly two telenovela-episodes I've decided to put in an old episode of Chuck vs. the Podcast, to help with the long summer withdrawal until season 4. The result: the upper part of Sarah's dress kept growing a little :)

Kicsit többet kellene foglalkoznom Vele. Ha több időm lenne...

Tovább nő a háttér/The background keeps growing

És már a rózsaszínig is eljutottam. Azt hiszem, ez a rész elég haladós lesz, még úgy is, hogy két-három árnyalat folyik egymásba, ráadásul már elég közel kerültem a kép széléhez is! Arról nem is beszélve, hogy a narancs alsó határánál már Marcos feje következik, ami szintén elég haladós rész lesz, már alig várom, hogy elkészüljek vele!

And I've got to the pink parts. I think this part will go quite fast, even with two-three different shades practically flowing together, and I also realized that I got pretty close to the border of the whole picture! Not to mention that the low border of the orange part marks the start of Marcos's head as well which will be quite easy to stitch, I can't wait to be ready with it!

Kicsit megkésve/A little late

Tovább nő az egyszarvú háttere, és egyben kezd a feje is körvonalazódni.

The Unicorn's background keeps growing, and with it the outline of its head starts to appear as well.



A Gaudínál pedig továbbra is a felhőknél tartok, valószínűleg még jó ideig.

And with Gaudí, I'm still stitching the clouds, probably for quite a while.

Csaltam.../I've cheated...

És a ma esti szezonzáró dupla epizód tiszteletére (na meg persze Pünkösd jóvoltából) a menetrendemet felborítottam, és tegnap és ma chuck Chuck-ot hímeztem :P Ennek eredménye a már majdnem teljesen kész pisztoly, néhány kis részlet az órában rejlő kis Nerd Herd-figurából, Chuck tollából, és Sarah ruhájának kezdete! Mi lesz velem a negyedik szezon kezdetéig...

And in honor of tonight's two-hour season finale (and of course due to the holiday) I broke my schedule, and spent yesterday and today stitching only on Chuck. The results: the gun is almost complete, there are a few more small parts, like the small Nerd Herd-guy in Chuck's watch, some parts of his pen, and the top of Sarah's dress! What am I gonna do until season 4 starts...

Vissza a felhőkhöz/Back to the clouds

Mindkét művemben visszatértem az éghez, bár igaz, az egyszarvúnál ez felhő helyett egyelőre inkább a sörényét jelenti, annak is csak a szélét.

I've returned to the sky in both my wips, although with the Unicorn, it actually means its mane instead of clouds.



A Gaudínál viszont tényleg az éggel haladtam... egy-egy nagyobb folt kék után pedig apránként betöltöm a toronyban maradt lyukakat is.

However I've really been working on the sky of Gaudí... and one by one I'm going to fill in the small holes in the tower in between larger patches of blue.

Újabb kis részlet jelent meg/Another small part appeared

Ezúttal Sarah pisztolyának a csöve. Érdekes módon így még az elszórt konfettiöltéseket is sokkal könnyebb csinálni, hogy csak egy színnel varrok egyszerre, arról nem is beszélve, hogy a PCStitch színkiemelő funkciója (amivel úgy is ki tudom nyomtatni a mintát, hogy az éppen aktuális szín jeleit nyomtatja feketén, az összes többi körülötte halványszürke) és az illanós filc a barátunk :D

This time it's the barrel of Sarah's gun. It's interesting how it's a lot easier to stitch the confettis that are quite apart, now that I'm only stitching with one color. Not to mention that the highlight function in PCStitch (that allows me to print the chart with the color I'm using in black, and all the other symbols appear in light grey) and the dissolving marker are our friends :D

Egy kis sárga a sok kék között/Some yellow between all the blues

A háttér apránként tovább nőtt. Hihetetlen, hogy a sárgák mennyire visszahozták a kedvem a folytatáshoz, a kard sok konfettijétől már egy kicsit elegem volt.

The background keeps growing little by little. Unbelievable how the yellows brought back the fun in this wip, I started to have enough of all the confetti in the sword.

És megint vissza a kékekhez/And yet again back to the blues

Az egyszarvú negyedik lapja megint sötétkékkel kezdődött, vegyítve némi feketével, de hamarosan jön a rengeteg világos, ami a fejét adja majd.

Page four of the Unicorn started with dark blue again, mixed in with some black, but very soon the light blues that will form its head will appear!



A Gaudí tornya már majdnem kész, és az ég is tovább nő :)

Gaudí's tower is almost done, and the sky keeps growing as well :)

Sok kicsi sokra megy/Lots of small parts are worth a lot

A sok kis elszórt nonfiguratív részből lassan összeállt a keret, Chuck nyaka, Sarah hajának körvonala és a szeme! :) Lassan, de biztosan alakul a dolog.

All the little nonfigurative parts are slowly coming together to form the frame, Chuck's neck, the outline of Sarah's hair, and her eyes! :) Slowly but surely it's starting to take shape.

Megint kész egy lap!/Another page is done!

Végre kész az egyszarvú harmadik oldala, és ezzel az oldallal a kékekből is sikerült kitörni! :)

Finally I'm done with the third page of the Unicorn, and with this I managed to put aside all the blues for a while as well! :)



A Gaudí tornya pedig tovább nő és színesedik, ezután újra a felhők jönnek.

Gaudí's tower keeps growing and getting more colorful, after I'm done with it, it's back to the clouds.

Továbbléptem.../I've moved on...

...Chuck fejétől, az a kis nonfiguratív rész a keret darabja és Chuck feje közt Chuck "fegyverének" egy kis darabja :) A következő valószínűleg Sarah pisztolya lesz.

...from Chuck's head, the small nonfigurative patch between the part of the frame and Chuck's head is a small part of his "gun" :) Coming up next is probably Sarah's gun.

Műsorváltozás/Change of plans

Mivel rájöttem, hogy a kard markolata a sok sötét árnyalat miatt gyakorlatilag egybefolyik Santi ingével, úgy döntöttem, hogy majd az inggel együtt varrom ki, így helyette újból nekivágtam a háttérnek... Nagyon kellemes ilyen világos színekkel dolgozni, ráadásul viszonylag nagyobb foltokat, úgyhogy azt hiszem, az elkövetkező hetekben elég jó tempóban fogok majd haladni! :)

Since I realized that the grip of the sword is practically flowing together with Santi's shirt due to the dark shades, I've decided to stitch it together with the shirt, so instead I've started to stitch the background again... It's really nice to work with such bright colors in more or less bigger patches, so I think in the next few weeks I'll have a pretty fast progress! :)

Apránként ez az ég is nő/Little by little this sky is growing too

És az utolsó kép óta két újabb árnyalattal gazdagodott. A következő árnyalat jó nagy foltot tesz majd ki, úgyhogy legalább ezen a művemen nem kell a konfetti miatt aggódnom az elkövetkező pár hónapban :)

And I've put in two more shades since the last picture. The next shade will take up quite a big patch, so at least with this wip I won't have to worry about confetti for the next few months :)

Konfetti minden mennyiségben/Huge amounts of confetti

Az embertelen mennyiségű konfetti miatt nem igazán tudok nagy haladást felmutatni, bár ahogy így kicsiben elnézem a képet, a vár részletei egész jól alakulnak :)

Due to the huge amount of confetti stitches I can't show too much of a progress, although looking at the small picture here the details of the castle look better than I thought :)



Ugyanez a helyzet a Gaudíval is, most először a toronnyal kezdtem, és majd csak utána térek vissza a háttér nagyobb foltjaihoz.

Same with Gaudí, I've started this page with the tower, and will return to the bigger patches of the background later.

Haj, haj.../Hair, hair...

Ma végre vége a nagy elvonásnak, és az új epizód tiszteletére pont sikerült befejeznem Chuck hajának fekete részeit! Ezután valószínűleg sok kis elszórt fekete rész lesz, aztán, ha minden igaz, Sarah ruhája, vagy a pisztolya :)

Withdrawal is over today, and in honor of the new episode I managed to finish the black part of Chuck's hair! Next up I'll have a bunch of small black parts all over the place, and after that I'll probably get to Sarah's dress, or her gun :)

Kész a penge!/The blade is complete!

Most már a markolat jön, aztán ha végre az is kész, jöhet a háttér és Marcos! :)

Now it's on to the grip, and once it's finally done, I can start the rest of the background and Marcos! :)

Megint egy kis haladás/A little more progress

Most már tényleg nincs sok hátra az egyszarvú harmadik lapjából, a vár már majdnem kész, és hamarosan felbukkan a sárkány és a hercegnő egy-egy része is :)

I don't have a lot left from the third page of the Unicorn, the castle is almost complete, and very soon the dragon and the princess will show up as well :)



A Gaudíból pedig sikerült a negyedik lapot is befejezni... innentől megint jobbra és fel fogok építkezni, a torony csúcsának a másik felével folytatom.

And I managed to finish the fourth page of Gaudí... I'm going to continue up and to the right, with the other half of the top of the tower.

Hát megtörtént.../So it happened...

Mintha nem lenne elég, hogy még egy hétig nem lesz új rész, kénytelen voltam szembesülni azzal a szomorú ténnyel is, hogy elhibáztam a számolást Chuck egyik szélső tincsénél... úgyhogy bonthattam vissza, szerencsére nem kellett sokat, csak egy fél tincset a füle mellett :D

As if not having a new episode for yet another week wasn't enough, I had to face the fact that I made a mistake with counting, so I had to redo a small part... fortunately it wasn't too many stitches, only half a lock by Chuck's ear :D

Színesedve/Getting more colorful

Az egyszarvúban a várral együtt kezdenek felbukkanni az első sárgás-zöldes árnyalatok is. Kis szerencsével jövő héten már színesebb lesz az egész!

In the Unicorn, the first yellowish-greenish shades are starting to appear along with the castle. Hopefully by next week it will be even more colorful!



A Gaudí pedig tovább színesedik, és úgy néz ki, jövő héten megint kész leszek egy újabb lappal!
