Úgy tűnik, beválik a tippem, és tényleg az Arrow felirat fog elsőként elkészülni! :D Már alig van üres hely a betűkben, az 1120 öltésnyi 958 is szinte kivétel nélkül oda ment.

Looks like I guessed correctly, and the Arrow sign will indeed be the first completed part of the wip! :D There are hardly any empty spaces in the letters, most of the 1120 stitches of 958 went into them as well.

Búcsú egy időre/Farewell for a while

Mivel eltökélt célom, hogy a Gaudít jövő év végéig befejezzem, és mivel ez nem menne a jelenlegi tempómban, úgy döntöttem, hogy amíg kész nincs, pihentetem szegény Montecristót. Már csak azért is, mert a folytatása előtt szeretném a mintát teljesen átrajzolni PCStitch-be, hogy a brutálkonfettis rész már jóval gyorsabban mehessen. Szóval viszlát kábé egy év múlva, Santi, Laura és Marcos! :D

Since I really want to finish Gaudí by the end of next year, and since I wouldn't be able to do this with my current speed, I decided to let my poor Montecristo rest until Gaudí is finished. The other reason for this is I really want to redraw the pattern in PCStitch before continuing, so that I could get through the brutally confetti-heavy part much more easily. So see you in about a year, Santi, Laura and Marcos! :D

A Montecristo a másik nagy nyertese a PCStitch Underlay funkciójának, mivel a mintát eredetileg egy másik programon csináltam, ami olyan régi volt, hogy már XP alá se lehetett feltelepíteni, nemhogy a friss Windows alá, így csak a rossz felbontású jpg verzióból tudtam dolgozni. Ez már nem sokáig lesz így! :D

Montecristo is the other big winner of the Underlay function of PCStitch, since originally I've created the pattern in another software that was so old that I couldn't even install it under XP, let alone the newer Windows, so I had to work from the low-res jpg chart. Not for long anymore! :D

Nincs több rémálom!/No more nightmares!

Miután sikerült felfedeznem a PCStitch-ben az Underlay funkciót, vagyis hogy berakhatok bármilyen képet a mintarács alá, és így sokkal gyorsabban és kényelmesebben átrajzolhatok bármilyen mintát szerkeszthető verzióvá, azonnal nekiestem a Gaudí következő két lapjának, és ezeket már úgy hímeztem ki, hogy minden színt ki tudtam emelni, akárcsak a saját mintáimnál! Jóval gyorsabban el is készültem vele, mint terveztem! :DDD

After I've discovered the Underlay function in PCStitch that allows me to load any image under the pattern grid, and so allowing me to redraw any chart much faster and easier into an editable pattern, I've started putting in the next two pages of Gaudí, and stitched them highlighting each color, like with my own patterns! And so I've finished it a lot faster than I expected! :DDD

Végre barna! És egyben át is léptem az ezres határt! :))) 1011 öltésnyi 3021-essel erősödtek a kontúrok, és Felicity arca már szinte teljesen felismerhető! :)))

Finally brown! And I've also crossed the 1000-stitch line! :))) I've put 1011 stitches of 3021 into the outlines, and Felicity's face is almost completely recognizable now! :)))

Átköltöztem egy kicsit Oliver oldalára :D Most már az Arrow felirat is egyre jobban látszik, hála az e heti 235 öltésnyi 913-as zöldnek!

Haladunk lefelé/Making some progress downwards

Lassan, de biztosan haladok, most már valahol a vár sötét részeinél tartok! Hamarosan elérem az iszonyatosan konfettis Montecristo feliratot, bár azt már könnyebb lesz kivarrni, mint az eddigieket, mivel sikerült találnom egy szuper megoldást arra, hogy rajzoljam át a csak képformátumban meglévő mintát (a program, amivel eredetileg csináltam, olyan régi, hogy win7 alá már fel se lehet telepíteni, ráadásul nagyon alapszintű volt) egyszerűen és gyorsan PCStitch-mintába, amiben ugyanúgy ki tudom emelni a színeket, mint az összes saját mintámban :D

I'm going slowly but surely forward, I'm already somewhere in the darker parts of the castle! I'm gonna soon reach the terribly confetti-heavy Montecristo sign, although that one will be easier to stitch than the previous ones, since I've managed to find the perfect solution to copy the pattern that's saved as image files (the software I originally used to create the pattern is so old it can't even be installed under win7, plus it was really basic) quickly and easily into a PCStitch-pattern format where I can highlight the individual colors just like in the rest of my own patterns :D

Álomból rémálom/From dream to nightmare

Ez lett ez a két lap. Amikor nekifutottam, azt hittem, 7-8 nap alatt kész leszek, mert szép nagy, egybefüggő foltok vannak benne... így is lett volna, ha nem szúrom el a számolást már az első halványrózsaszín elején, és nem kellett volna majdnem 500 szemet visszabontanom. Legalább 3-4 nappal visszavetette a haladást, hogy a kedvemről ne is beszéljünk. Mindegy, ezzel a két lappal kész az első teljes oszlop is, vagyis elértem a kép alsó szélét :))))

That's what these two pages became. When I started them I thought I'd be finished with them in 7-8 days, since there are nice big single-color patches in them... and I could've done it had I not miscounted right at the beginning of the first light pink, having to frog almost 500 stitches. It threw back my progress with at least 3-4 days, and let's not even talk about my mood. Whatever, with these 2 pages I've finished the first full column, so I've reached the bottom edge of the wip :))))

Jártatok már úgy, hogy előkészítettétek a következő színt, amivel hímezni akartatok, és kiderült, hogy azzal a színnel már végeztetek? :D Így jártam a 959-es zölddel. A táblázatomban nem volt bejelölve, hogy már kész, a mintán viszont igen, és valóban, már korábban letudtam... Úgyhogy jött a helyére szintén 25 öltésnyi 3607-es ciklámen, Sarah pisztolyába. :D

Has it ever happened to you that you prepared your next color to stitch with, only to find out you've already completed that color? :D That's what happened to me with the 959 green. It wasn't marked as done in my spreadsheet, but it was marked on the chart, and yes, I've actually finished off those stitches already... so I've moved on with 25 stitches of 3607 pink in Sarah's gun. :D
